On Sunday, 21st<\/sup> May 2017, the Militia Immaculatae initiated a Marian Fair at the SSPX Singapore Priory, assisted by a few parishioner-volunteers. The theme of the Fair was on Our Lady of Fatima.<\/p>\n

\"\"The night before, volunteers who had helped with the packing and set-up of items were united in prayers to Immaculate Mary, Who, without fail, saw to its success.<\/p>\n

The objective of this Fair was to encourage parishioners to help make known and to bring our Blessed Mother home with them and to their friends via framed photographs of our beautiful Heavenly Queen, the Fatima and Immaculata books, the Rosary Meditation booklets, etc and the free distribution of the Miraculous medals. An added objective was to generate some much-needed income or donations for the global evangelisation of the Immaculata and MI , under the direction of Fr. Karl Stehlin, our International Father Director\/moderator.<\/p>\n

\"\"The morning started sluggishly after the 8a.m. Mass, but became more vibrant after the 10a.m. Service. Items popular with parishioners were the MI\u2019s Fatima 100th<\/sup> Anniversary luggage tags, Our Lady\u2019s bookmarks and the 2 books, \u201cWhat Jesus owes to His Mother\u201d and \u201cMeditations on the mysteries of the Rosary,\u201d recommended by Fr Wailliez in his homilies. There were also a few generous donations.<\/p>\n

A couple of great moments to highlight would be that we were blessed with a few new attendees at the 10a.m. Mass, brought in by existing SSPX parishioners for the Fair and a few walk-in passers-by, drawn by Our Lady\u2019s majestic statue and photographs, fronting the street, who did some sporadic purchases. Hopefully, these Catholics will be a permanent sight at our chapel.<\/p>\n

The Fair ended at 1p.m., most appropriately on a sweet note because, not only did we have 2 young new attendees staying around to learn more about SSPX and our Catholic faith from our senior parishioners, but we also had queries from 8 young passers-by with whom our new young convert was able to do a sharing and to whom she was able to pass the write-up on \u201cVatican\u2019s Statements Concerning SSPX.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"\u201cThank you, parishioners\u201d for supporting this first Marian Fair. We look forward to garnering more robust support from you and all Catholics in this evangelistic mission to bring more souls to Our Lord Jesus Christ through the Immaculata, His beautiful Mother Whom He gifted to us to be our Mother.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s to our Blessed Mother\u2019s hand in the twin growth of the numbers of the Knights of the Immaculata and the parishioners in our chapel. All praises, glories and thanks to our Heavenly Mother and Her Immaculate Heart!<\/p>\n
