{"id":6984,"date":"2017-09-05T04:10:31","date_gmt":"2017-09-05T02:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test4.mi-backup.ch\/?p=6984\/"},"modified":"2017-09-05T04:11:09","modified_gmt":"2017-09-05T02:11:09","slug":"pilgrimage-to-our-lady-of-walsingham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test4.mi-backup.ch\/en\/pilgrimage-to-our-lady-of-walsingham\/","title":{"rendered":"Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Walsingham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The annual pilgrimage of the GB and Scandinavia District took place on September 2<sup>nd<\/sup> &amp; 3<sup>rd<\/sup> 2017.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-6986\" src=\"https:\/\/test4.mi-backup.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/news905a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"330\" height=\"248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/test4.mi-backup.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/news905a.jpg 330w, https:\/\/test4.mi-backup.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/news905a-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 330px) 100vw, 330px\" \/>Appeals had been made for a good level of support in this, the centenary year of the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima, particularly from those of the faithful who had been unable to undertake the Society\u2019s pilgrimage to Fatima. The aim was to have at least 100 pilgrims \u2014 one for each year of the centenary.<\/p>\n<p>It is a measure of the District\u2019s love for Our Lady that 154 pilgrims took part, from babes-in-arms to octogenarians.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-6987\" src=\"https:\/\/test4.mi-backup.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/news905b.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"330\" height=\"248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/test4.mi-backup.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/news905b.jpg 330w, https:\/\/test4.mi-backup.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/news905b-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 330px) 100vw, 330px\" \/>The procession began with the pilgrims filing through the Slipper Chapel to start on the holy mile to the Abbey ruins and the site of the replica of the Holy House of Nazareth. During the procession, hymns were sung, interspersed with decades of the rosary.<\/p>\n<p>At the site of the Holy House, Fr.
